Diseño Grafico en Quito

Here are some logo versions I created for a non-profit Mano a Mano in Venezuela. They work like a CSA giving produce directly from local farmers to residents and educate the communtiy about the importance of organic and local farming!

Anthakarana logo

Anthakarana asked me to help them come up with some logo ideas. Anthakarana means a bridge under a rainbow leading from the material to the spiritual. Anthakarana to this ecoaldea also means family, life, and fertility, love.

The first is a bird with all the 4 elements: water, earth, fire and wind. Anthkarana sandskrit symbol is in the center of the bird and the colors of the rainbow corresponds with the elements.

The second concept is just the sandskrit for Anthakarana in a design that has refeerences to the sun, flowers, life and again the rainbow colors that relate to the bridge from the spiritual to the material.

The tee is produced by Grameen Knitwear in Bangladesh. Grameen Knitwear is part of the network founded by 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Dr. Muhammad Yunus. A portion of the sales from each tee will be contributed to the hessnatur Scholarship Program at the Grameen Shikkha project, which helps to eradicate poverty through education.

A project to create packaging for an organic drinkable yogurt line. I conceptualized the name, branding, researched exotic superfood fruits with special health benefits all packaged in a completely biodegradable container made from ecolean.

Logo design for Astra Archery. A company started by Tyler Benner, author of Inside the Archer which is an instructional book for archery athletes. He sells his archery books and gear here.
Here he is sporting the logo on cycling gear which is also a sport he does regularly.

Eco T Shirt Contest Winner!

So I won this cool contest on Planet Green hosted by Hessnatur. My design has 7 species all interconnected by one line (from top going clockwise)- a bird, face, mouse, frog, the words "one life", butterfly, fish, and cat.

Proceeds from the shirts will help Grameen Shikkha, the education division of the humanitarian, anti-poverty organization founded by Nobel Peace Prize recipient Dr. Muhammad Yunus, help support students in Bangladesh.

The judge panel included Blake Mycoskie, Chief Shoe Giver and Founder of TOMS Shoes, Miranda Purves, Lifestyle Editor of ELLE, Summer Rayne Oakes, model and environmental activist, and Miguel Adrover, internationally renowned fashion designer and Creative Director of hessnatur.
